We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Developer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
• Experience in understanding architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation outlining the proposed solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to implementation and post-launch support.
• Lead technical design activities, including solution development and effort estimations.
• Oversee infrastructure teams implementing architectural designs to ensure quality deployment of solution components.
• Stay current with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that align with client goals and objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business teams, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• AWS application developer associate certification is required
• A total of 7+ years of Information Technology experience with minimally 5 years' hands on experience in one or more cloud architecture domains (e.g. solutions architecture, application architecture)
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex AWS solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of core AWS services, including S3, RDS, Lambda, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of Terraform
• A PoC level experience with AWS AI components is preferred (Amazon Q, Code Whisperer, Prompt Engineering)
• Experience working in an end-to-end enterprise DevOps environment using Containerization, Infrastructure and Configuration as a code, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Microservices development, building Serverless applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800- $150,200.
