Position Description
CGI is seeking an Axiom Developer to join our team supporting a core system for a large financial client in Cary, NC or New York, NY

This role offers flexibility of joining a team applying Agile methodologies to deliver high quality software to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to work with cloud based technologies on highly visible initiatives.

This role can be performed in Cary, NC or New York, NY

Your future duties and responsibilities
Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Free Form and Tabular Report and workflows using AXIOM Controller View tool based on Regulatory Report Requirements.

Migration of Axiom components from one environment to another.

Understanding the Functional documents and work with BA/Users to develop the reports.

Contribute on behalf of Technology Team to any need of Reconciliation cross work stream.

Developing windows services to store SQL Server data to Cloud based data warehousing by using Microsoft Azure.

Work in the role of an Axiom Developer in a fast paced environment, must be a self-starter, comfortable dealing with clients.

Eager to learn, focus on details, able to work in a fast paced technical and innovative environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
MUST have 6+ years of Development experience out of which 3 years must be on AxiomSL.

5+ Years of working on Axiom.

AxiomSL Controller View Certified is a plus.

Experience in Regulatory and Risk reporting such as FRY 9 C, FFIEC 101, 14M, 14Q is preferred.

Validated understanding of Oracle 12 from a Development perspective.

Prior experience with BI Reporting tool packages and Data Warehousing.

Unix /Linux command line interface and shell scripting.

Expertise in SQL and PL SQL.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or a level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in related field.
