This is a 3 month contract in Austin, TX. Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the US without a sponsorship and commute to Austin, TX. No exceptions.

You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to craft robust, scalable, and efficient backend solutions, ensuring the application continues to be a top performer.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
* Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including third-party partners, to integrate solutions and ensure seamless functionality.
* Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for a high-volume, revenue-generating platform.
* Work with PostgreSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval.
* Ensure the reliability and stability of a critical application that impacts daily business operations.

**What You’ll Bring:**

* **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science preferred).
* **Experience:** At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
* **Technical Expertise:**
* Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
* Proven experience in designing and developing robust APIs.
* Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational database technologies.
* **Soft Skills:**
* Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

This is an hourly hybrid position in Austin, TX. Candidates must currently be local to the area and eligitble to work in the United States without a sponsorship.
