About the Opportunity
We are seeking a contract Business Analyst II to support a Global Partner Stores organization during a temporary leave of absence. This role will provide critical support across business analysis, data management, reporting, financial planning, and partner store performance.
The Business Analyst will help ensure monthly partner store data is accurate, complete, and ready for business decision-making. This person will manage recurring reporting processes, support financial inputs, prepare analysis for partner business meetings, and conduct ad hoc analysis that helps stakeholders understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and maintain strong operational discipline.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, comfortable working with retail sales and financial data, and able to translate complex information into clear insights for business stakeholders.
What You’ll Work On
- Manage and validate monthly Global Partner Store data, ensuring partner submissions are complete, accurate, properly uploaded, and ready for analysis.
- Support monthly business reporting, dashboards, and performance insights.
- Prepare reporting and analysis for quarterly partner business meetings, including performance trends, opportunities, and key discussion points.
- Support retail fee processes, including annual retail revenue accruals and validation of partner sales data used in fee calculations.
- Assist with building bottoms-up annual financial targets and revenue plans at the store level.
- Support onboarding of new partners into business analytics platforms, reporting processes, and tools.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis related to store performance, revenue, partner trends, and business opportunities.
- Identify data-quality issues, reporting gaps, and process risks and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Maintain recurring monthly and quarterly reporting processes and business management rhythms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, retail analytics, commercial reporting, finance support, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong experience managing and analyzing business data.
- Experience with business intelligence and dashboard tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong ability to validate, reconcile, clean, and manage recurring business data.
- Experience preparing performance reports, identifying trends, and communicating insights to business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain findings clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with retail, wholesale, partner, e-commerce, apparel, footwear, or consumer business data.
- Experience connecting BI tools to underlying data sources and enabling data to flow between systems or platforms.
- Experience building, cleaning, validating, and troubleshooting datasets.
- Experience with Sigma is particularly valuable.
- Familiarity with financial planning, revenue forecasting, sales reporting, or store-level performance analysis.
- Experience supporting a large global retail or consumer brand.
What Will Make Someone Successful
Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable owning recurring analytical processes and can quickly determine whether the numbers are accurate and tell a meaningful business story. The strongest candidate will combine hands-on data skills with business judgment—someone who can work deeply in Excel and BI tools while also communicating findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
This person should be proactive about identifying data issues, comfortable asking questions when information does not align, and capable of independently managing deadlines and recurring reporting responsibilities.
