Intelligence Business Analyst

The Intelligence Center is adept at collecting, fusing, and interpreting data to tell stories that drive decision making for Resilience and the Enterprise. Over the past year the NIC has been partnering with Business Continuity to visualize data that support their Business Continuity Planning engagements with teams across the Enterprise to identify, track, mitigate risk that cause business disruptions. To support this work, the NIC has create a reporting portal and dashboards called the Continuity Data Ecosystem.

This person will contribute to visualization development for the Continuity Data Ecosystem and help drive project management excellence. They will help the team deliver multiple dashboards and data processes for the Business Continuity team. They will be accountable for the creation of future Tableau dashboards and data deliverables for the Continuity Data Ecosystem as well and managing the reporting portal for the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive analytics and data visualization experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with Tableau
  • Consistent record of delivering data visualizations, analytic applications, and dashboards that drive business decisions and lead to organizational change.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an interest in data-focused storytelling
  • Strong understanding and experience with common coding languages and ETL applications
  • Advanced proficiency in enterprise data management, possessing relevant skills in data stewardship, extraction, ingestion, integration, and analysis.
  • Consistent record developing data solutions and KPIs that relate to organizational performance, measure ROI, and drive business efficiencies.
  • Strength in strategic problem solving and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strength in cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
  • Great listening skills and openness to different points of view.
  • Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.40 to $42.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
