The Supply Chain Department has an opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst. This position is located and based in our Corporate Office in Boise, ID.
POSITION PURPOSE: Provide Corporate leadership as well as local operations with reporting and analysis. Conduct complex data mining and analysis to solve a variety of cross-group Supply Chain business issues.
Data Analysis 30%
Use data for analysis utilizing statistical techniques to develop solutions to business requests
Capability to take data from disparate sources across the enterprise and synthesize information for meaningful business insights
Develops and implements innovative analytical methodologies and support tools for evaluating company processes, business problems, and/or ROI of products and services
Data Reporting 50%
Consult with business users to document business needs and document and design reports and dashboards to solve those business needs
Presents results of complex analysis and recommendations to senior management, using presentations, charts, graphs, etc.
Runs reports of varying frequencies for a variety of functional groups
Create ad-hoc customized reports for a variety of needs/functions
Prepares key performance indicator data and scorecards to support Corporate Supply Chain top to top meetings and other strategic meetings
Design and develop analytical dashboards
Monitors key performance indicators compared to projections identifying potential issues, recommending solutions and corrective actions
Project Management 20%
Ability to provide analytical support and insight to a variety of distribution initiatives
Capability to manage project plans, key milestones, and work cross-functionally to hold people to deadlines on a variety of different initiatives
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
2+ years of experience with a major grocery retail chain or national vendors of packaged foods.
Advanced knowledge of SQL to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data
Experience with Qlikview, Power BI, Crystal or equivalent solutions to create impactful reports and interactive dashboards
Advanced Excel skills a plus
Experience in multiple facets of Supply Chain including Procurement, Finance, Logistics and Warehousing a plus
Highly motivated problem solver with high degree of initiative and sense of urgency
Ability to work with very little direction and take projects to the next level
Keen ability to handle large data sets and synthesize into meaningful business information for decision making
Outstanding collaboration skills required
Proven oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to all levels of the organization
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of business programs/initiatives in response to changing priorities
