The Alternatives Technology Data and Reporting team provides development and support for reporting applications and data services related to the Alternatives Fund Servicing business. As a Programmer Analyst, you will be involved in design and development of new data and reporting solution and be a key player in the build out of the Alts Data Platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for interacting directly with the Alts business team to understand requirements and should be capable of clearly articulating proposed technology solutions to solicit feedback, enable development, and implement to production.

Responsibilities:

Development of new and innovative data and reporting solution across the suite of Alternatives operational systems and BI tools, APIs, and B2B integrations.
Maintain/Support the existing suite of reporting tools across a variety of technical stacks
Design and development of the Alternatives data model in an enterprise-wide Data Warehouse
Build strong relationships with Alternatives business users and migrate offline reporting to a strategic BI tool

Requirements:
Experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting Software (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Very strong SQL skills – MS SQL Server and Oracle
Experience working with Data Architects/Modelers and ability to describe the needs of our business users to be satisfied in the context of an enterprise level data framework
Experience with Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) or JEE platform (CDI, JPA, EJB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST)
Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
Problem solving skills, able to determine upcoming risks & issues and address them
Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:
Qlik Sense Scripting
Web development skills – experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Vaadin, jQuery)
Statistical programming languages such as SAS and R
eFront FIA experience
Prior experience with Tomcat
Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
ETL software expertise such as ODI
Experience with Alternative Funds such as Hedge, Private Equity, and Real Estate
