Business Intelligence Developer
The Business Intelligence Developer is part of the BI-Enablement team, responsible for the design and development of reporting solutions to expand the Enterprise Reporting platform.
Design, build, test and maintain BI applications that are stable and scalable to meet business needs.
Develop semantic layers, dashboards, reports, and complex metrics.
Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex reporting and business processes.
Administration of the BI Platform including user provisioning, security role maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
Develop technical requirements and specifications for BI applications.
Communicate regularly with technical and non-technical team members including partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
Educate team members on Business Intelligence concepts and best practices

Search Headquarters Positions by Area of Interest: ANALYTICS, Finance
BS/BA required with an emphasis in a business discipline such as accounting, finance, economics, data science, engineering, analytics (or relevant work experience
4+ years relevant work experience, preferably with a focus on Microstrategy.
Advanced working knowledge of Semantic Layer creation within the MicroStrategy platform. Other Business Intelligence Tools, such as Business Objects, Cognos, SAS, OBIE will also be considered.
Strong understanding of SQL with experience in Oracle, Hadoop, and Teradata.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts related to Relational and OLAP databases.
Proficiency with data manipulation languages such as Hive, Pig, XML preferred
Skilled in performance tuning of reports as well as VLDB settings
Proven experience successfully delivering multiple, complex enterprise level projects to completion
Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative environment.
Strong team player who can adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities
