Clearance Level (Required to Start): Secret

Daily Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for handling needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align technology business strategies.

Receive business and information technology needs from customers, and convert the requirements into recommended courses of action to present to Government review board for decision.

Work directly with government customers, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills.

Collect and analyze data to report metrics using Microsoft Excel (charts, PivotTables, etc).

Perform portfolio management tasks to prepare for the Defense Business Council (DBC) annual review of Defense Business Systems (DBS).

Required Skills

Strong communication skills.

Ability to analyze business and IT requirements to determine courses of action.

Experience with communicating with Government personnel to document requirements and status.

Customer Relationship Management

Business process improvement

Preferred Skills

Experience operating within an ITIL environment

Army Portfolio Management experience

Experience working with Army agencies

Have engaged with Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS) and Information Technology Approval System (ITAS)

Knowledge of business process workflow notation and using MS Visio to visually display process flows

Comfortable presenting information to Government decision makers

Ability to research IT (hardware, software, services) solutions

Lean and Six Sigma skills

Motivator for change

Degree & Years of Experience: 3-5 years’ CRM experience, 1-2 years requirements analysis in support of an IT project/program

Certification Requirements: Ability to obtain ITIL V.3 within 6 months of hire

Travel Requirement: None at this time but could be no more than 15%

Additional Information:

Work is performed on government site. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel. Core work hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday except holidays. Support will be provided outside of core hours during the following times: 1) in support of Fiscal Year-End processing, usually the last two weeks of Sep. 2) During no more than four scheduled user tests per year; 3) in support of quarterly implementation of new code releases; 4) when required to resolve problems resulting in software application.
