Business Systems Analyst – ERP Configuration
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting enterprise systems and business processes across MCC’s operations. This role focuses on system analysis, ERP implementations, data integrity, configuration, and end-user training. Acting as a liaison between business users and IT, the Analyst ensures systems are configured effectively, processes operate efficiently, and users have the tools and knowledge needed for success.

Key Responsibilities
• System Analysis & Support: Apply knowledge of assigned business processes to analyze, design, develop, and test system functions ensuring business requirements are met.
• ERP Implementation: Partner with the Business Analyst team to implement ERP systems at new MCC facilities, ensuring smooth deployment and user readiness.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with users to gather detailed requirements and prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, new features, and reporting.
• Process Improvement: Use data and process analysis tools to identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows.
• System Configuration: Configure and maintain assigned business systems to support evolving operational and business needs.
• Training & Documentation: Conduct knowledge transfer and training for end users; create and maintain system, process, and end-user documentation.
• Project Coordination: Ensure project requirements, timelines, budgets, and scope expectations are met.
• Reporting Support: Assist users in defining reporting needs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts; experience with report writing or SQL queries is beneficial but not required.
• Technical Liaison: Serve as a liaison between users and the IT application development team for custom solutions requiring programming support.
• Data Migration: Perform data analysis and minor programming to support data migration from legacy to standard systems.
• User Support: Provide troubleshooting for transactional issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive resolution. Administer applications as needed (logins, functionality, reporting, data integrity, interfaces). Maintain a support log following service request guidelines.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience supporting ERP configuration and systems in a manufacturing environment; Radius ERP preferred.
• Experience in business process, system, and data analysis, including participation in application implementation projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Terminal Servers, Citrix, and database concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field or commensurate experience.
• Strong customer support skills including issue escalation, root cause analysis, and accountability in follow-through.
• Demonstrated experience deploying Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to present ideas effectively to management and influence decision-making.
• Primary language proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Ability to travel to offices and manufacturing facilities as needed (estimated 4–8 weeks annually; primarily U.S. with potential international travel).
