Job Summary: The Command, Control, and Communications Group (A4F) is looking to hire an enthusiastic software developer who is interested in all stages of the software development life cycle. We currently contribute software expertise in areas including Aegis Combat System Modeling & Simulation (M & S), large-scale system architectures and frameworks, Augmented / Virtual Reality system development, and Comprehensive Layered Defeat. We strive for continual improvement of our skills, tools, and techniques and are looking for people with the same drive.


1. Participate in cross-enterprise teams to perform full life-cycle software development in C .

2. Contribute to software design and collaboration activities to ensure robust systems development through all phases of the software engineering life cycle.

3. Effectively communicate proposed concepts, designs, and solutions to development teams. Produce documentation to capture concept definitions, requirements, design decisions, and technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years programming experience and interest in full life-cycle development in C .

Experience working successfully within a team environment either at school or in the work place. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain INTERIM SECRET clearance.

Desired Qualifications: MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Significant depth of knowledge of C with a desire to stay up-to-date with the evolution of C . Success developing large scale software systems or experience in modern user interface development. Strong analytical and logical skills and attention to detail. Proven success working in multi-disciplinary team environments. Active TOP SECRET clearance.

Special Working Conditions: Travel (typically a few times per year) to local and remote contractor facilities for meetings and reviews as necessary. Travel to support occasional test events involving extended or evening hours, travel aboard ships and to field site activities.

Security: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
