Requirements

• High School diploma; Associate/Vocational degree with major course work in CAD/CAM, Drafting, Engineering
• Minimum of three to five years (3-5) of experience using Esprit CAM software
• Ability to read and write in English (manuals, specifications)
• Proficient user of PC and software, (Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word)
• Knowledge of lathes, mills, and 4-11 axis machines
• Knowledge of design specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and tolerance information.
• Ability to read measuring instruments such as measuring tapes, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

CAD/CAM CNC Machine Programmer

The Trident Company – has an immediate opening for a CAD/CAM CNC Machine Programmer in the Tulsa, OK facility. The CAD/CAM CNC Machine Programmer transforms initial customer product designs using software to generate G-Code for CNC Machines.

Responsibilities:

• Translates lay-outs, drawings and designs according to customer specifications using CAD/CAM software to create G-code for CNC machines.
• Acts as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing and sales departments.
• Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods, test finished product and system capabilities, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
• Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and entering data.
• Works closely with CNC Machine Operators to determine proper tooling and speed feed ratios for optimal performance output.
• Monitors, documents, and controls any changes made to CNC machine programs.
