CI/CD System Administrator

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented CI/CD System Administrator to join our team in the Augusta, GA area. 

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Management & Engineering: Develop and manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion flows, including working with the ZIngest system, to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.

  • Software Development & API Integration: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, APIs, and ingestion feeds, focusing on rapid implementation and meeting evolving customer needs. Use source-code control.

  • Systems & Infrastructure Administration: Manage databases and data, perform system updates, and design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on multiple networks using containerization technologies (Docker, Podman). Document infrastructure administration.

  • Security Implementation & Compliance: Design and implement API security, manage access control (RBAC), ensure compliance with security standards (DISA/GISA), and work with cybersecurity personnel on vulnerability management. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Customer Interaction & Collaboration: Interface with customers to gather requirements, define data specifications, and provide solutions, including converting raw data into usable formats. Work with technical writers and testers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Educational & Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree). Requires IAT Level II certification.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, API development, Agile/DevSecOps practices, containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), Linux system administration, and scripting (Python, Groovy, Java). Experience with NiFi data flow and troubleshooting.

  • Data & Intelligence Experience: Experience with DataOps lifecycle (ingestion, ETL) and SIGINT/All Source Intelligence reporting standards. Ability to work with various data formats (XML, JSON, regular expressions).

  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Ability to evaluate software requests, estimate technical debt, troubleshoot issues, and define software solutions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of pub-sub messaging systems including RabbitMQ, Pulsar and Kafka.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
