Leidos is hiring a TS/SCI with Polygraph cleared Linux/Windows Systems Engineer in the Columbia area, MD.

Program Summary
 

Leidos is a preferred subcontractor on a large, multi-year contract that develops, integrates deploys, and sustains large collection systems. The work offers team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. We provide exceptional service to our customer in an area in which we have deep incumbent knowledge.

Significant requirements include Mission Management, Operations, and Sustainment activities. The team will provide 24x7x365 support to multiple Operations Teams and will feature 1st/2nd/3rd Party Partner Engagement.

Job Summary         

The System Engineer applies engineering principles throughout a system’s life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.

Additionally, our Systems Engineer interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated challenges.

Our new team member will communicate with program personnel, government overseers and senior executives as they enjoy responsibility for the technical integrity and completeness of work performed.

Personnel will design, integrate, test, and deploy hardware solutions supporting the Cyber Mission within the Enabled and High-Speed Capabilities (EHSC) organization. Provide systems engineering support to mission partners for milestone events such as the PDR and CDR; integrate solutions using procured and government developed solutions; test the delivered solution; and perform deployment/installation.

Required Qualifications

*Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

*BS in a related field and 15+ yrs Windows/Linux System Engineering OR MS in a related field and 13+ yrs of Windows/Linux Systems Engineering OR PhD in a related field and 11+ yrs of Windows/Linux System Engineering

*5+ years of System Administration Automation, management, and security compliance 

*5+ years of experience with design and modification of architectures to ensure they meet customer requirements including the capability to produce documentation and drawing packages

*Experience performing product/capability testing and reviews to ensure requirement compliance

*Experience with NetApp, VMware, Cisco and Juniper devices

*Experience with Visio or other drawing applications​.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 – $220,900.00
