What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with senior management, technical, and client teams to define data requirements and implement best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis.
  • Develop and document logical and physical database descriptions.
  • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
  • Modify existing databases and database management systems, or direct others in making changes.
  • Test programs and databases, correct errors, and implement necessary modifications.
  • Analyze supply chain data, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, and lead times.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of supply chain problems (e.g., demand spikes, supply disruptions).
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards using leading business intelligence platforms to visualize supply chain performance in real time.
  • Build robust data models and write complex data modeling and calculation languages to support analysis of various scenarios.
  • Automate data refreshes and ensure dashboards are user-friendly for stakeholders.
  • Translate data insights into actionable plans, preparing and presenting summaries for leadership.
  • Support the execution of approved actions by coordinating with relevant teams and tracking outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience in data analysis and database management.
  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL
  • Expert proficiency in leading business intelligence platforms for dashboard creation, data modeling, and complex calculation languages.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including high proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
  • Experience with database technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deliver results on time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, especially in a global or multi-site supply chain environment.
  • Experience in supply chain operations, with familiarity in industry-specific challenges or seasonal planning cycles.
  • Familiarity with leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) or supply chain planning systems.
  • Knowledge of database or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for advanced analysis or data automation.
  • Relevant supply chain or data analytics certifications.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Ability to navigate a complex organization, work independently, and drive results.
  • Knowledge of the ETL process.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions.
  • VBA skills.
