Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst – Vendor Management – Locations.

In this role, the successful candidate is primarily responsible for supporting the day to day operations within the Vendor Management team The Data Analyst will be responsible for day to day operations of the vendor master third party software as well as PeopleSoft vendor maintenance The Data Analyst will also support analytics ongoing projects and business process improvements within Supply Chain Management

Job Responsibilities:

    • Set up review and maintain hospital location codes and related account numbers across systems PeopleSoft GHX
    • Work with new and existing vendors to verify financial information for approvals
    • Implement data management best practices to ensure data integrity and deliver incites when analyzing data to various internal and external parties nbsp;
    • Solicit feedback from end users of the onboarding process create an improvement plan to improve end user issues and implement positive changes to mitigate their issues 
    • Create reports and dashboards based on business needs
    • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and quick reference guide documentation for various processes including the vendor onboarding process nbsp;
    • Identify and implement methods to improve processing distribution and data flow including automation nbsp;
    • Work close with the department head to assist with administrative tasks including but not limited to running departmental reports managing dashboards meeting management follow ups and driving standardization of work
    • Perform other duties as assigned including working close with the department standardization of work templates and taking lead on departmental tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree and one year of experience Strong experience and expertise in Excel High level of accountability inquisitive in nature detail oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL Alteryx and any other Supply Chain Management technologies Experience creating documentation and establishing policies and procedures Background in vendor management or procurement operations technology or supply chain

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 – $65,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
