Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst (Vendor Management – Locations).

In this role, the successful candidate in this position is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the vendor management team as well as activities across data management. The Data Analyst will be responsible for key vendor management activities including the day to day operations of the vendor master third-party software as well as PeopleSoft vendor maintenance. This including invites, sanctions and financial validation, updates and service ticket resolution or other production tasks as assigned. As well as setting up, managing, and troubleshooting GHX and Vendor account set ups. The Data Analyst will also support analytics, ongoing projects and business process improvements related to data management activities in PeopleSoft and other sub-systems.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Establish documentation, including onboarding of vendor through our third-party solution as well as through PeopleSoft. 
    • Manage hospital location codes and related account numbers across systems (PeopleSoft, GHX).
    • Implement data management best practices to ensure the integrity of the data, quality of data processes, and deliver analyzable data to various internal and external parties.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain users to solicit feedback on the onboarding process for continuous improvement.
    • Create reports and dashboards based on business needs.
    • Document, implement, maintain and recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, and data flow.
    • Identify and implement additional opportunities to automate data flow.
    • Partner with internal and external parties to set up , review and maintain account locations
    • Work with new and existing vendors to verify financial information for approvals.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree. Strong experience and expertise in Excel. Has a high level of accountability, inquisitive in nature, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in creating documentation and establishing policies and procedures. Must have a strong background in vendor management or procurement operations, technology or supply chain.
Other minimum qualifications include: excellent oral and written communication skills, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL, Alteryx and any other supply chain management technologies are preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 – $72,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
