A tobacco company in Jacksonville, Florida is looking for a Data Architect to be responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals and teams to access. Their duties will include identifying and maintaining the consolidation of all Swisher internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organization needs and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure for company employees. The primary objective is to eliminate silos by combining data from all parts of the organization, along with external sources into one place to eliminate competing versions of the same data. You will oversee migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions and design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.

Bachelors degree

5+ years of experience as a Data Architect

Strong knowledge of database structure systems and principles + data mining

Experience gathering/analyzing system requirements

Expert in SQL and Oracle

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, D3. js and R)
