Insight Global is looking for a Data Developer to join the team of a large insurance company out of OKC. This person will be joining a team of 8 and will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, and assisting in the implementation of secure low to medium database solutions and ETL processes. They will be pulling structured and unstructured data from internal & external systems including customer and policy data, as well as financial data. This candidate will need to have strong SQL skills, including experience with: stored procedures, joins, views, packages, writing advanced complex sub queries, nested queries, and query optimization. They must have experience data modeling and experience utilizing ETL tools, specifically SSIS/SSRS. Most commonly, this individual will be assisting on up to 2 projects at a time.

Cloud migration experience (Azure, AWS)

Qlik experience

Experience with Azure Devops

Experience with Data Vault 2.0
3+ years experience as a Data Developer/Engineer

2+ years of professional experience with Python specifically for ETL and data manipulation

Advanced SQL skills (stored procedures, joins, views, packages, writing advanced complex sub queries, nested queries, and query optimization)

Experience using ETL tools, preferably SSIS/SSRS

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing

Experience working in Agile methodologies

Familiar with the DevOps, data pipeline and sharing code repositories with tools such as GIT

Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate issues to determine solutions

Ability to communicate and present information
