Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support for a hybrid remote work model. The ideal candidate will provide technical support troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operation of desktop systems. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems offering effective solutions to users.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of desktop systems and related software.
  • Maintain and update system documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Monitor system performance identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols to protect desktop systems from threats.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users enhancing their technical proficiency.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new desktop hardware and software.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department.
  • Support remote users ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to work effectively.
  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of desktop support and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in installing and configuring desktop systems and software.
  • Have experience in maintaining system documentation and adhering to IT policies.
  • Show ability to collaborate effectively with IT team members and end-users.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining system performance and reliability.
  • Possess a relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
