Our Channel Marketing Managers are data-driven decision makers that own the marketing portfolio health, innovation, and strategy. They draw insights from competitive research, trending data, and multivariate testing with the goal of growing and optimizing the email and mobile channels. You will work alongside multiple product managers, vertical merchandisers, data scientists and analytics to grow the channel portfolio and value across the globe, affecting 150+ million users.
You will be responsible for growing a multi-billion dollar channel contributing to eBay’s overall growth rate. As such, you will be looked at by executives across eBay to drive year on year growth for the overall company. This is a big job!

Is eBay’s thought leader on CRM vision
Motivates and energizes the team by defining best-in-class marketing and channel experience
Leads a team of ~10 marketing managers across multiple geographies; Responsible for the sourcing and hiring of new team members; constantly raising the talent bar
Creates strong partnerships with Regions, Product, Analytics, Ops, Customers, Agencies and other key partners and stakeholders
Influences the Product and Merchandising roadmaps through hypothesis-driven business case and opportunity sizing
Proactively optimizes and ensures the health of the channels via daily review of KPI/ metrics and monthly health checks; Ensures high-quality campaigns and leads the team through crisis when there are p1s.
Represents channel externally while partnering with 3rd party vendors & creative agencies
Pushes and drives utilization of the channel by regional marketing teams, taking into account business priority and strategies and local opportunities
Research and development of new content types, pilots to build into product roadmap
Develops and grows channel reach and retention
Proven track record of channel expertise and marketing management: e.g. Agency, Email ESP, Retail, Email, Notifications
Demonstrated customer marketing acumen.
Record of building high trust relationships with business partners, product managers. Data-driven decision making & influence
Creating and cultivating networks of people across a global and matrixed organization.
Candidate should be comfortable with executive-level presentations and influence as well as diving deeper into problem-solving with team.
