Reporting to the Global Head of IT Infrastructure and Enterprise Services (IES), the person in this role will have an opportunity to make a huge difference in how we deliver technology and IT services to our employee base of 55,000+ people around the world. The Director, IT Employee Experience will build and lead our newly created IT center of excellence focused on Employee Experience. This new team will be dedicated to ensuring that we are relentlessly focused on putting the employee first in everything we do. From project inception through delivery and adoption, and working with the broader IES team, this group will seek to embed the focus of improving employee experience through partnership, development and governance in support of the broader IES initiatives. Recognized as an expert, thought leader and advisor, the person in this role will be critical to the success of the broader IT organization.
Responsibilities:
Define and build the strategy and operating model for the Employee Experience team including:
partnership with IES and other groups within HP;
education of our broader IES team on what it means to put the employee first;
oversight model to ensure we have a consistent understanding and approach.
Define the Employee Experience roadmap with key deliverables and meaningfully measurable objectives around the delivery of optimal employee experiences.
Design and deploy NPS metrics and measures for the IT services, reporting adoption, satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
Build out and lead a team of awesome individuals who know enough about the IT initiatives and even more about how we create a positive employee experience in everything we do.
Partner with IES teams to deliver and transform critical end user business processes, optimize repetitive business practices and increase productivity and best practice adoption.
Partner with groups outside of IES (e.g., HR) to ensure we are aligned on the broader employee experience front and find opportunities to make a difference.
Proactively seek to understand company culture and change adoption across defined employee personas and needs.
Define core personas that exist at HP to ensure we truly understand the different facets of our employee base leverage these personas to build out the experiences we want.
Build out a candid and transparent employee feedback system that can be leveraged across IES.
Identify and/or create opportunities to develop the employee experience focus of the broader IES team (e.g., Design Thinking).
Experiences/Capabilities:
Project Management:
Prior experience implementing large-scale, global, transformation projects for large organizations.
Ability to effectively, and independently, manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail; requires strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis and draw conclusions in collaboration with the project team.
Must be knowledgeable of both waterfall and agile methods.
Relationships:
Ability to influence and communicate at the Executive level and affect change at all levels of the organization.
Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work with business and IT partners of all levels.
Financials:
Previous P & L responsibility and/or working knowledge of financial processes.
General:
Previous experience working with external vendors preferred.
Capable of joining a project mid-effort, quickly assessing, providing feedback and partnering for success.
Understanding of, and the ability to navigate in, large complex organizations. Is comfortable working in an environment of uncertainty and complexity.
Ability to make decisions under pressure; oversee communication and implementation of decisions across all necessary organizational units.
Ability to recognize strategic opportunities; strong research and knowledge of changes in business operations.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, or Project Management. MBA or higher degree preferred.
Functional experience in at least two of the following roles: Strategy, Marketing, IT, HR or consultingApply
