The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Center (AAC) is seeking applicants for a Federal Work Study computer technical support assistant to provide computing and instructional technology support to faculty, staff, and graduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Center.
Individuals applying for this position should have some knowledge of computer hardware and software. This includes regular installation and configuration of operating systems, peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and software applications such as Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Cloud environments such as Dropbox and Google Drive, Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat, and more. Practical experience with tablets and smartphones is a plus.The tech assistant will help maintain the inventory of AAC equipment, asset management, and assist with equipment set-up for events.

Minimum Requirements:
Federal Work Study eligible.

The ability to work quickly and efficiently, multitask, and meet deadlines is critical.
Integrity, punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to learn technology quickly, are a must.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to interact with individuals of many different backgrounds.
Must display a professional appearance and demeanor, as well as maintain confidentiality of all information entrusted to this position.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
