We are seeking a Senior ERP Applications Administrator to work remotely on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis.
Under general direction of the Director of IT & ERP, installs, maintains, upgrades, patches and tests Fielding Graduate University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business application, Colleague, and supporting modules, including, Student Self Service, Ellucian Payment Gateway, Intelligent Learning Platform, ColleagueUI, SAValet, WebAPI, Informer, and associated third party software in order to provide application administrative support and for production and non-production environments adhering to related standards, policies and procedures. The Senior Application Administrator assists the Application Support Specialist and our external developer with the maintenance of multiple production and development environments by supporting our environment replication processes and by troubleshooting and analyzing problems as they may arise. As needed, performs software application research, analysis, upgrades, migrations, performance monitoring, tuning, capacity planning. Contributes to the annual security audit. Performs UNIX administration including oversight and monitoring of our UNIX backup processes including accounts, CRON jobs, Unidata Maintenance as well as all Windows Server administration related to the ERP Systems; IIS, TomCat, Certificates, and troubleshooting
The Senior ERP Applications Administrator will also serve as a team resource for other technical projects. The Senior ERP Applications Administrator will ensure continuous and quality services through proactive methodologies and closely coordinated communications. The Senior Administrator ensures that any changes to the application systems are fully documented and thoroughly tested and approved by the manager before going into production. The Application Administrator collaborates with our networking team, portal administrator and outside vendors.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience. 3-5 years of progressively responsible technical experience, with responsibility in the following areas: Web server administration, MS Windows Server Administration, UNIX/Linux System Administration, Colleague Systems Administration.
