An employer in the LA area is looking to add a Business Financial Analyst to their corporate operations team. This person will be responsible for working cross functionally in supporting teams across several verticals including: Operations, Finance, IT, HR, Safety, Real Estate and Maintenance/Engineering. They will be creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure Operational Projects are tied to Corporate and Finance function controls. They will also be assisting team leadership in defining highest priorities for the business and create road maps for parallel projects with the goal of creating operational visibility to all aspects of the business, driving ROI-based decision making, presenting analytical performance of company KPIs and initiatives, story boarding and fleshing out C-suite presentations to drive strategy discussions. They will be analyzing financial information to determine present and future financial performance. They also will need to evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements. This person will be responsible for working on-site 2-3 days/week or as needed.
Experience with data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
Experience with Smartsheets or other automation/ETL tools
1-3 years of finance, financial planning and analysis, operations or other equivalent experience
1-3 years of project management experience – proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or Operations
