Leidos is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Front-End Developer to join our team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). We're looking for a candidate with strong consulting skills and hands-on experience developing solutions; especially someone with experience in designing, configuring, and deploying cloud solutions; passionate about technology and problem-solving. The Front-End Developer will collaborate with a mix of technical experts and architects, business/product owners, business analysts, technical writers, testers, and scrum masters in an Agile-Scrum environment.

This position will require that you be onsite 3 days per week in the DC area.

Responsibilities:

• The Front-End Developer will be part of a scrum team, working with team members and the client to properly define use cases and develop solutions meetings customer requirements.

• Develop responsive applications based on the business requirements.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Work as part of a team to ensure the scope of the sprint is complete.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

• Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)

• Experience with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP)

• Experience with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Scaled Agile Framework, & Scrum

• Client Interaction experience

• Strong Problem-Solving abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers verbally and in writing.

• Must be a US Citizen

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

• Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. 

Target salary range for this position is $100,000 – $110,000.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 – $146,875.00
