An Insight Global client is looking for a Mid to Senior level Local Software Engineer to join their team in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. This team is comprised of 4 developers and 1 lead software architect. In this role you will be expected to both code from scratch as well as maintain preexisting code/applications. This team is currently functioning in a full agile environment and running full scrum ceremonies. On a day to day basis, you can expect to work on assigned stories for up to 6 hours a day and production support for up to 1 hour. The ideal candidate will be able to step into the role and hit the ground running and be open to a collaborate team environment.

***MUST BE WILLING TO GO ON SITE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY***

Experience pulling from data sources (Terradata, AWS, DB2 etc.)
3+ years of development experience

Experience with backend languages specifically C#, SQL, ASP. NET

Experience with frontend languages JavaScript and XML or AJAX

Experience with WSDL (web services development language)

Willing and eager to participate in a collaborative environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Will be meeting with c-level executives at times
