Global Sourcing M Project Manager

Global Sourcing provides Agilent with optimal Sourcing and Procurement Services: Balancing quality, cost, service and compliance. This role involves a significant amount of project management, specifically regarding Merger & Acquisition (MA & D) integration, and Divestiture separations.

Global Sourcing Procurement is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and people-oriented individual to join our dynamic organization as a Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager. This role will allow you to demonstrate your project management and leadership expertise, while providing first-hand knowledge on Agilent’s expanding product portfolio. Gain valuable global experience working as part of a cross functional project team in a multinational company. Travel to acquired companies and/or Agilent locations in support of integration activities may be required.

Responsibilities include:
* Leads global, multi-site, cross-functional project teams in the successful integration of acquired companies to Agilent’s indirect procurement processes and technologies, including Ariba & SAP.
* Represents GS as primary point of contact for procurement integration strategies, objectives and plans.
* Serves as a direct contact between Corporate Development Integration Program Office (IMO) and Global Sourcing (GS) staff.
* Collaborate with other functional leads to provide an integrated solution, address any issues, and remove risk to the business.
* Analyze, plan and track project phases and activities, and communicate the timelines/milestones/goals on a regular basis to IMO, GS management, the project team and other stakeholders.
* Effectively and proactively identify and communicate risks to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
* Regularly report progress, escalating issues if necessary, to IMO, GS and Agilent’s CEO staff
* Engage acquired company’s employees in training and communication to ensure seamless and smooth transition to Agilent procurement policies and processes.
* Lead project retrospective analysis to improve our M & A integration playbooks for the future deals.
* Establish trust and work with integrity while motivating others to achieve the goals of the project.

Qualifications:
* Project Manager with a passion for leading change and desire to succeed under a minimum level of guidance.
* Ability to manage several M & A integrations simultaneously, with varying levels of complexity and at different stages in acquisition integration lifecycle
* Effectively multi-task amongst several competing initiatives and priorities.
* Ability to build top-down and bottom-up business relationships that focus on a common goal of achievement
* Experience leading cross functional teams and managing non-direct reports to complete assigned tasks within milestone timelines.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Direct experience managing integration of M & A into a company’s core processes and systems is desired.

* Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent work experience.
* Typically 8+ years relevant experience

* Effectively multi-task amongst several competing initiatives and priorities.
