Global Strategic Advisory Lead – ServiceNow

The Global Strategic Advisory Lead – ServiceNow will shape and drive our strategic services and offerings tailored to meet clients’ needs and guide them through ground-breaking journeys. Responsible for the development, refinement, and maintenance of our Advisory services to ensure our catalog of strategic solutions and offerings remain relevant and effective at addressing clients’ challenges and goals on a global scale. Identifying market trends, client demands, and new technologies to continuously improve the portfolio of services offered. Establish global standards, methodologies, and frameworks to guide planning and execution processes, ensuring consistent and high-quality advisory services to clients worldwide.

What you’ll do:

New Accounts

Identify new business opportunities and positioning valuable advisory services as a vital part of client success. Champion the strategic positioning and value proposition to business partners, emphasizing ground-breaking solutions over product-centric approaches. Ensure the Strategic Advisory team is fully connected and working together with Program Principals, Sales, Partners, Practice Leads and Solution Consulting.

Account Growth

Develop strategies to build long-term and productive relationships with clients as strategic partners. Analyze client market and recommend appropriate changes to products and services. Ensure Client success, linking investment on the platform to business outcomes. Support key and strategic advisory processes for ground-breaking, operational, and growth initiatives. Prepare and provide reports on metrics, key performance indicators and value achievement.

Strategic Services

Be a leader and guide in business transformation, provide direction and recommendations based on industry knowledge and experience. Share industry insight and customer service standard processes based on experience. Develop and support new advisory service offerings and enhance existing advisory service offerings. Assess the market for advisory services. Determine viability of services and handles strategic issues, quantifying the estimated cost and time requirements of the work. Guide and own the scoping and writing of advisory proposals. Build and maintain the advisory services catalog to include templates and documentation for global advisory services that span groundbreaking, operational, and growth aspects of Advisory Services.

Awareness & Culture

Promote a culture that emphasizes value to clients that are rooted in advisory. Internally advocate for and promote advisory services as a means of driving value for our clients. Participate in the creation of customer success stories. Ensure that the Strategic Advisory team is focused on value, growth, and client satisfaction. Collaborating across different functions. Collaborate with other groups, such as Pre-Sales, Product Development, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless client experience. Participate in Account Planning and Territory Planning activities to identify growth areas for Clients. Collaborate with Delivery to ensure high quality resources are operating in ground-breaking programs. Collaborate with partners from our Alliances team to bring unique products and services to high value client accounts. Provide insights and feedback to improve products and services based on client interactions. Attend ServiceNow & Industry events to connect with customers. Identify market trends and new offering ideas. Implement Business Scorecard solutions to enhance business performance. Supervise the adoption of Agile methodologies to ensure project efficiency and timely delivery. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align business objectives with technical solutions. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure visibility and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and deliver actionable insights for continuous improvement. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote standard processes in Agile and Business Scorecard usage. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams. Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet commitments and budget constraints. Engage with collaborators to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. Support the development of business strategies by providing data-driven analysis and reports.

What you bring to the role:

Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

  • ServiceNow Sales Certifications. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Experienced in two additional product lines outside of ITSM (required).
  • ITIL Foundation-level required with advanced level ITIL certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of other IT or business frameworks preferred.
  • 10+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
  • 15+ years of experience in General Consulting, Service Management, and Organizational Change Management.

The annual salary for this position is between $162,000 – $190,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
