Job Summary:

As an High Volume Validation Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving efficiency, reliability, and scalability in our ASIC Validation processes across relatively large quantity of SoC parts across PVT conditions. Leveraging your expertise in ASIC validation and automation, you will plan, design and implement validation board farm, System Level Testing handler with automated solutions to optimize SoC system validation workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance overall validation productivity. This role offers an unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge ASIC validation and automation, contributing to the advancement of ASIC development.

Responsibilities:

  • High Volume Validation board farm: Design, develop and deploy automation solutions for ASIC Silicon validation across process, voltage and temperature.
  • System Level Test Handler: automate, maintain SLT handler to ensure its smooth execution with yielding expected test results.
  • Integration and Testing: Integrate automation systems with existing validation test infrastructure, test content, conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of automated test flow execution.
  • Test content integration and automation: Collaborate with validation test engineers across our global teams to collect and automate test flow to be executed across board farm and handler.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data from board farm and handler to monitor performance, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues. Generate reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and insights for stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for board farm and handler, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing upgrades, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
  • Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation, manuals, and training materials for board farm and handler processes. Conduct training sessions to educate engineers and technicians on the use and maintenance of board farm and handler.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in the design and operation of board farm, handler and test equipment. Implement safeguards and fail-safe mechanisms to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of previous experience in system level testing and automation engineering, preferably in IC testing or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in programming, NI LabView, robotics, and industrial automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, C/C++, or Java. Familiarity with System Level Test handler. Experiences with ASIC system level validation and debug is a huge plus.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex ASIC validation processes and develop innovative system level test solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, convey automation concepts to validation focused stakeholders, and document automation designs and processes
  • .Adaptability and Initiative: Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing requirements, and take ownership of projects from concept to deployment.
