Enterprise Information Security’s (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargo’s infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo’s Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.
This position supports Wells’ Cloud Access Security Monitoring (CASM). The Information Security Engineer will act as the primary contact with the current vendor, Netskope, as well as multiple internal ancillary support organizations including Network, F5, Splunk, and Ebonding team (HP onsite). The engineer will spearhead the current re-design effort to replace aging on premise hardware, increase capacity, provide a more robust test environment and potentially incorporate a secondary disaster recovery site. The engineer will research and influence decisions regarding future migration to a cloud-based product offering. Besides on-going redesign and implementation, the position provides operations support and maintenance including day to day appliance monitoring and security validation, windows server compliance and monitoring, monthly validations of security and configuration drift, and bi-yearly vendor assessment.
- 7+ years of information security applications and systems experience
- 5+ years of technology vendor management experience including hardware, software or professional services
- 3+ years of experience engineering and analyzing server-based operating systems such as Windows or Unix
- 3 + years of Windows or Linux scripting experience
- 2+ years of experience managing Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) deployment using tools such as NetScope
- 3+ years of experience managing hardened appliances
- Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
- Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- Experience with integrating infrastructure devices including F5, Splunk, and Bluecoat
- Ubuntu OS experience
- MongoDB support experience
- Ability to work on call as assigned
- Ability to provide and work from a home office
