Information Assurance Engineer, Junior
Key Role:
Provide technical analysis for information assurance (IA) support and integration efforts and perform analysis of authorization and accreditation (A & A) documentation for operational systems, networks, and applications. Conduct risk assessments and risk mitigation analysis and develop contingency plans. Provide expertise in executing all steps necessary to support the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring accuracy of system documentation. Provide advice and recommended direction on IA and A & A matters, provide programmatic support in a dynamic environment, and participate in collaboration team meetings to coach program managers and IA practitioners through RMF compliance processes. Analyze the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure systems meet security and privacy requirements. Provide results of unresolved discrepancies to the client for inclusion in that system’s IA Plan of Action and Milestones (POA & M). Support new user training on policy and process changes for the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with system and network vulnerability analysis, risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis, security test and evaluation (ST & E), and contingency planning
-Experience with IA concepts and requirements
-Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
-Experience with the Authorization and Accreditation (A & A) process and standards
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams
-Possession of excellent customer service and organization skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-IAT Level II Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
