As a Technology Engineer Sr. within PNC’s Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Remote work will be considered for a well-qualified candidate.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
•In-depth understanding of telephony (voice) functionalities and capabilities within Call Center type environments
•In-depth understanding of telephony technologies, such as:
o ANI validation services
o Carrier network meta data
o IVR capabilities
o CTI functionality
o Caller authentication methodologies
•Understanding of telephony infrastructure and connections between carriers, the various components in use and systems impacting call routing decisions
•Experience with Voice Security software, such as Pindrop Protect
•Experience with security investigations surrounding fraudulent situations involving the voice channel, including interacting with various departments within the bank and external organizations, including law enforcement
•Extensive experience with all products within the MS Office suite
Responsibilities & Expectations
Your responsibilities would include the following:
•Obtain an in-depth understanding of all technologies in play within the voice ecosystem
•Develop strong relationships with management and personnel supporting all the voice technologies
•Develops and maintains a strong relationship with Security Operations within the Voice space and is ingrained in their day to day, to understand the latest fraudulent infiltration techniques
•Develop, drive and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors of Voice Security technologies
•Lead the direction and future roadmap of all Security related technologies within Voice
•Communicate with stakeholders about plans, status, and issues; participate in presentations to senior leadership.
•Act as a prominent proponent of driving the implementations of Voice Security applications within the telephony stack of technologies. Such as, but not limited to:
o Fraud detection
o ANI anti-spoofing technologies
o Customer authentication by voice print
•Perform data analysis exercises to understand impact of decisions ensuring the right directions toward securing customer’s accounts
•Leads in the search and introduction of the most complex new and emerging technologies and selects appropriate platforms for integration to align with business strategies and objectives
•Oversees the quality of complex project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes
- Provides expertise on platform engineering, while overseeing the team’s effort and meeting customer needs. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
- Develops software components and hardware for complex projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
- Provides expertise on best practices, standards, engineering approaches and complex technical resolutions for processes.
- Places emphasis on quality improvement efforts; ensures that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction.
- Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development, to meet business objectives.
