IT Apps Programmer Sr

Our Insurance domain client is seeking a Sr. IT Apps Programmer to join their team. As a Sr. IT Apps Programmer , you will be part of the client supporting Team. The ideal candidate will have Angular. c#.net & Kafka which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. IT Apps Programmer/.Net with Angular experience
Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)
Pay Range: $60-65/hr.

Job Description
You will develop high-quality, cost-effective information technology solutions to address business needs. Creates and maintains an Angular UI, front-end application with C#.NET back-end microservices. Performs development testing activities and documents how the software was developed and will be maintained. This contractor will be implementing a solution that will allow us to control occupancy for individual consultants based on their assigned workgroup’s occupancy threshold and look back period. This will include importing and exporting data via CSV format.

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Angular (any version – currently using version 17), CSS, C#, .NET, SQL, REST APIs
• Knowledge of computer coding/programming languages, software development concepts and experience making full-stack changes
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces
• Basic knowledge of vendor software integration and interaction patterns
• Technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data from various sources and determine next actions
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Listening, verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to research and find technology solutions and maintain awareness of emerging technology

Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), development lifecycle, and deployment patterns
• Experience importing and exporting CSV files
• Experience writing unit tests to back code changes.
• Experience with Kafka and producing Kafka messages

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
– Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
– In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
– In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
