Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. Generally, reports to a Program Manager.
  • Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
  • Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
  • Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
  • Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • High School with 6 – 9 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Must have a valid DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Must possess and Valid US Passport
Required Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated master program portfolio schedules
  • Demonstrated experience tracking multiple project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs through program/portfolio lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience identifying dependencies between program/portfolio projects and tracking dependencies through program/portfolio lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience defining risks and risk mitigation plans and tracking risks through program/portfolio lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experienced identifying issues and impacts and tracking issues through program/portfolio lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience managing programmatic information for enterprise-wide projects and programs
  • Demonstrated experience defining and implementing strategic communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex programs and leading geographically dispersed operations and engineering staff of varying skill levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or another related technical field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in supporting DoD or Information Technology Enterprise (ITE) contract.
  • Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
