IT Restorations Consultant

IT Restorations Consultant Compensation: $70,000 90,000 USD Plus bonus, 4% 401k match, and excellent paid health benefits This is an immediate permanent, direct hire opportunity for an experienced IT Restorations Consultant. In this role, you will be a part of the first responder service team who ensure we meet and exceed our service level agreements and "best practices. You will help to restore all critical IT functions and network infrastructure to ensure that the client is up and running with little to no downtime. This team coordinates on-site restoration services. Essential systems of business such as payroll, email, active directory, data storage, networks, and reimage and/or restore systems as necessary; being on the Restoration team requires the ability to be on call and be ready to deploy at a moment’s notice. In this role, you are a first responder to cybercrime attacks, impacting hundreds of small and midsize clients across the US, every day. Requirements for an experienced IT Restorations Consultant: * Act as a team member providing incident response & analysis services involving both on-site/deployed and remote/lab-based activities. * Provide well-thought-out and reliable direction to help customers re- establish business operations following a disaster scenario. * Take ownership of customer issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cause, and issue resolution or escalation. * Serve as an internal and external point of contact on customer escalations and ensure customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible. * 7+ years of senior technical support, system administration or related customer-facing role. * Knowledgeable in the Windows environment, including Windows Service and Workstation, troubleshooting and diagnosing low-level operating systems and network issues. * Confident with a wide range of hardware platforms, including NAS, SAN, server, and networking devices. * Ability to learn new technologies quickly. * Excellent relationship management, customer service, and communication skills in various forms (written, live chat, conference calls, in- person). * Ability to remain calm, composed, and articulate when dealing with challenging customer situations.
