The Audio Visual Specialist will implement cable management, rack fabrication, troubleshooting, and the installation of diverse audio/video components. Perform equipment setup and configuration, both individually and collaboratively. Advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of classroom media equipment. Manage storage, security, and inventory of audiovisual equipment. Coordinate, deliver, and set up portable AV equipment. Record work, manage materials, and equipment requisitions. Provide technical support for video classes, streaming, and live events. Contribute to planning and installation of classroom AV equipment. Execute equipment preventative maintenance. Participate in AV production projects when needed. Assist with support for AV events from planning to equipment setup and operation. Deliver exceptional customer service and tech support to faculty, staff, and students. Collaborate on various technology support projects. Offer one-on-one instruction on technology tool basics. Install and deliver computer hardware, software, and AV equipment following established standards.

Hiring Salary Range:

$19.86 – $25.82/per hour DOE

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and three years of experience with supporting audio visual and multimedia systems, hardware and software, and end-users of audio visual systems.


An equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
