We are searching for a Mid-Career Multi-Level Security (MLS) Systems Administrator responsible for the design, support, hardening, and integration of MLS systems (computation and storage), software, scheduling, and research applications. Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration is a plus.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with the administration and configuration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or above
• Fiber Channel (SAN and Direct Attach) Storage Array Administration Experience
• System Configuration and Hardening
• Script writing experience
• Security+ Certification or ability to acquire within 6 months
• Active DoD TS or TS/SCI needed to start
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Trusted Multi-Level Security (MLS) Operating Systems; specifically, RHEL 5 or above
• Experience customizing and maintaining (RHEL) Common Operating Environment (COE) to meet customer requirements
• Experience with ICD-503
• Network Configuration
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
