Lockheed Martin is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer for an exciting Orlando, FL position! This experienced modeling and simulation engineer will be a member of the Modeling and Simulation Team on a missile Program.

The Modeling and Simulation engineer will be working with the Modeling and Simulation Team under the System Performance Branch. This engineer will be required to develop truth and sensor models for the program's Integrated Flight Simulation using the C++ Model Developer (CMD) framework. The engineer will also be developing models for a weapons data link, including environmental effects on signals. Required Tasks are the generation of Simulation Modeling Description Documents (SMDDs), Analysis Documents (ANAs), daily interaction with Algorithms, Performance Analysis and Software Teams.

You must have an active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this role.

Basic Qualifications:
You must have an active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this role.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Knowledge of IFS, basic knowledge of Guidance Laws, Numerical Analysis, C++, ADA, MATLAB Continuous Integration Pipelines, Basic Statistics and Basic Real-Time Modeling
Desired Skills:
Mastery of C++, MATLAB, Simulink & Python

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
