As a .Net Developer you will participate in enhancing our new system within the Health and Benefits Business. It will also require proficiency of working with .NET/C# in building projects, web services and deployment solutions.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

– Develop .NET solutions based on business requirements, working closely with internal clients on defining what the requirements are.
– Work closely with the lead developer and business teams to implement new design features.
– Debug and test new software or enhancements to existing software, creating release notes for all updates.
– Troubleshoot user reported errors.
– Prepare detailed systems specification and technical design documentation based on business requirements received from business clients

The Requirements

– 5+ years’ experience in software development implementation experience using .NET implementing and rolling out real world .NET applications
– Proficiency in ******, C# and Multi-tier application designs
– Proven expertise in Windows Thick Client Development
– Experience with DevExpress and ActiveReports is a plus
– Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
– Strong customer service orientation, addressing team and client needs on a daily basis
– Exceptional oral and written communication skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
– Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to complete projects on time by meeting tight project deadlines
– BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
– Current Microsoft Certifications is a plus; and Actuarial knowledge also a plus
