Summary

CTS is looking for a Network Engineer, with advanced Network & Security skills. The candidate should have relevant experience in all areas of network configurations within a global infrastructure with practical experiences in implementing, standardizing, and maintaining networking equipment regardless of the location of the equipment.

Organization Structure

This role is part of the Corporate IT Infrastructure team based in Lisle, IL. and reports to the Manager of IT Infrastructure and Security. This is a hands-on technical role, not a management role.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Experience in security systems, including Fortinet, Crowd Strike and other intrusion technologies, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, internet content filtering, etc.
  • Experience with networking manufactures such as: Meraki, Cisco, HP, and Dell networking devices.
  • Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Experience with Cisco technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki services.
  • Experience with FortiGate Firewalls.
  • Experience with working with managed service providers.
  • Experience with IP4/IP6 IP schemas.
  • Experience with WLAN, LAN, SDWAN architecture.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and resolution of networking related issues.
  • Experience with Wireshark, Splunk, NetFlow and other diagnostic tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NIST CSF and ISO/IEC 27001 security frameworks.
  • Understanding of NIST SP800-171.
  • Experience with ITIL, Agile (SAFe, Scrum) and other technology frameworks.
  • Experience with Meraki devices management.
  • Experiences with RADIUS based authentication.

Education:

  • B/S in computer science.
  • 7-10 years of related experience.
  • CISCO CCNP.
