Network Engineer
The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop network needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills to help support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries.

You Have:

• Experience configuring routers, switches, and network appliances
• Experience racking and cabling routers, switches, and network appliances
• Experience working with access control and network layer administration
• Experience working with routing policies , network architecture, and IP subnetting
• Experience working with network protocols and services such as TCP / IP, UPD, BGP, and OSPF
• Knowledge of operating system-specific networking tools for Windows or Linux
• Knowledge of basic scripting in support of automation tasks such as Python, Perl, Bash, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of firewall policy and firewall policy troubleshooting
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience designing, building, and configuring hybrid virtual or physical networks based on specific mission requirements
• Experience with security tools and devices, including packet inspection, network monitoring, web proxy, int rus ion prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, or penetration tools
• Experience with cloud-based networking te chn ologies such as Virtual Private Clouds ( VPCs ) and Network Security Groups ( NSGs )
• Experience with virtualization te chn ologies such as VMs, hypervisors, and storage virtualization
• Ability to research tools, methods, and procedures for optimizing network needs
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CCST, or JN CIA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
