Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to optimize and maintain the "As Is" architecture while simultaneously setting conditions to integrate emerging capabilities and capacity to support customer's global operations. You will ensure priorities for planning, installing, securing, operating and maintaining LAN,WAN,WLAN and Mobile networks in support of established operational requirements and service level objectives.

In this role, you should have outstanding and communications skills, superior problem-solving skills, exceptional initiative with sound judgement and a thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN and Mobile Integration)
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Prioritize and Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
  • Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
  • Communicate with users when needed
  • Maintain complete technical documentation
  • Provide technically sound input necessary to enable improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
  • Work cohesively and effectively with other technical personnel

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 5 years of Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field; we may accept certain technology experience in lieu of formal degree
  • Professional certification(s), (I.e., CCNP, Sec+)
  • Demonstrated solid background in network administration & architecture and sharp troubleshooting skills
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
  • Familiarity with access control models and network security
  • Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
  • Must be self-driven with ability to work successfully from a remote/home office

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 – $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
