This position is responsible for assisting with updating and coordinating physician schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Assist the scheduling team in reaching out to radiologists to request on call coverage for coverage gaps
– Update shifts in OpenTempo daily to help ensure all shifts are loaded correctly before end of month compensation goes out
– Assist in tracking and sending messages to radiologists who owe hours
– Assist with responding to emails about time adjustments and extra shift requests
– Help respond to requests for short term extended coverage or check the coverage report for gaps in coverage

Qualifications/Education:

– 2+ years of relevant business experience
– Able to communicate effectively and calmly
– Positive attitude with high aptitude for creative problem solving
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
– Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PAYER ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST.

The Payer Enrollment Specialist (PES) is responsible for merging, completing and following up on provider applications with third-party payers. Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to produce a high output of applications, is essential to this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Complete a variety of third-party payer applications for vRad providers, including government and commercial
– Understand and apply state regulations/entity information to applications, which includes non-application related requests and projects
– Maintain current status notes in database/spreadsheets and ensure timely follow up on initial enrollment, recredentialing and expirables for providers/clients
– Establish and maintain a strong professional rapport with providers, third party payers, clients and internal staff
– Communicate enrollment updates and/or questions to our third-party billing vendors
– Research and work through payer enrollment issues

Qualifications/Education:

– High School diploma
– 1+ years of administrative experience

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A RADIOLOGY CODING ANALYST.

The Radiology Coding Analyst is responsible for supporting the Office of General Counsel with projects pertaining to all aspects of the medical coding and billing compliance, with a focus on identifying and correcting coding issues that result in underbilling, incorrect billing, or non-compliance to CMS regulations. The Coding Analyst team will also support medical coding needs of other internal departments as required.

This position supplements our third party billing company’s coding process by obtaining additional information from reporting radiologists, client facilities, and hospital information systems when needed for better diagnosis and procedure coding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Work with vRad’s team members, third-party billing vendor, vRad clients, and radiologists to obtain information needed to support medical necessity in order for vRad to successfully collect reimbursement for professional radiology services
– Helps vRad radiologists successfully participate in Medicare’s quality payment program
– Responsible for understanding yearly Medicare changes that affect radiology and the health care industry and possesses ability to apply to daily work processes
– Conduct coding audits on vRad’s third-party billing company
– Research coding and reimbursement questions that come from clients, managers, vRad staff, and radiologists
– Review radiology reports that are held due to missing information required to support billing, identifies root issue, and communicates requests to radiologist so that final reports can be billed
– Works medical necessity denials and is able to identify the coding or documentation error to submit corrected claims or submit appeals to third-party payers
– Establish and maintain relationships with vRad clients, third-party billing vendors, and radiologists in order to obtain and provide information
– Identifies topics for coding and billing education and can prepare an article or presentation slides on the topic
– Balances and completes a variety of assigned tasks with minimal management in a timely and accurate manner that is compliant to policy and procedures
– Help maintain accurate and up-to-date coding in vRad systems.
– Encourage and maintain positive working relationships

Qualifications:

– 3-5 years radiology specific coding experience preferred. Will consider 2-3 years of radiology coding experience

– Active Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC) and/or Radiology Coding Certification (RCCB) required

– 3+ years of customer service experience

– 3+ years of experience with government and commercial billing and collections preferred

– Ability to access hospital and billing information systems and identify information, reason for denial, and identify clinical information that would support medical necessity

– Ability to work efficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

– Strong professional verbal and written communication skills with ability to address controversy

– Ability to organize workload, consistently follow up, complete, and report outcomes

– Proven track record of independently handling wide variety of revenue cycle projects simultaneously with success

– Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

– Must be able to troubleshoot issues independently and effectively manage assigned tasks

– Knowledge of all areas of the revenue cycle preferred

– Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

– Must possess high level critical thinking, problem solving skills, and self-initiative

– Must be extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

– Able to manage own tasks and assist other team members

– Understand the application shipping process

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, support, and operational health of vRad systems and infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Server and Workstation Support

– Performs system administration of workstations, servers, and IT systems
– Perform Active Directory administration & maintenance including security, file/folder access, intranet and remote access.
– Evaluate, test, and deploy software updates, OS patches and security patches
– Assist with administration of AD related services (DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policy)
– Assist with the management of cloud products as directed
– Assist with the triage of the system ticket queue and event management
– Create and maintain documentation

Support Workstation Team

– Diagnose and resolve escalated operating system, application software, hardware and operator problems from the Help Desk team
– Provide guidance and support for Desktop Administrators
– Evaluate, define, and ensure proper support for office hardware and software needs for the office
– Assist with system backup(one-drive user backup) and recovery

Project planning

– Participates in planning and refining project task
– Contributes to overall project objectives
– Complete individual deliverables

Product Procurement/Development

– Contribute in the endorsement, testing, and implementation of new hardware and software solutions
– Provide recommendations to improve/enhance the capabilities of current IT systems
– Establish and maintain effective working relationships with end users and vendors
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred
– Minimum two years of experience providing desktop support and one year providing server support in a corporate environment
– Microsoft certifications preferred
– Strong knowledge of a LAN/WAN in a Microsoft environment
– Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM administration
– Experience with scripting of administration tasks and software deployments
– Experience providing technical support to local and remote end users

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN OPERATIONS SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE.

We have part-time and full-time positions available:

– Part-time Schedule: 4:00-9:00pm or 5:00-10:00pm with rotating weekend shifts.

The Operations Center at vRad provides world-class customer support to our clients by monitoring and facilitating the radiology workflow process (24/7) for hospitals, clinics and radiologists. To effectively meet this need, the Operations Support Representatives provide constant monitoring of incoming orders and images to ensure that all relevant clinical information has been submitted, complete data order entry as needed proactively and identify and/or trouble-shoot non-technical issues.

We play a crucial role in assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed or conference calls are required. To properly support these activities, a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous and effective communication. Due to the nature of this business, multi-tasking, following procedure, extreme attention to detail, relationship management and a sense of urgency are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Monitor incoming orders and images to ensure that all necessary clinical information has been submitted (including image count verification)
– Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets or other information requested by doctors
– Perform data entry of faxed orders
– Verify hospitals requesting service are covered at the time of request
– Answer inbound calls
– Coordinate conference calls for doctors/RNs/rad techs
– Identify and trouble-shoot issues (i.e. mismatched studies, etc.)
– Provide documentation of all study activity
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

– No education required
– Two or more years of customer related experience in a contact center environment preferred
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
– Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
– Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
– Telephone etiquette skills are essential
– Medical background a plus
– Professional, courteous and respectful demeanor
– High level of attention to detail necessary
– Strong organizational and prioritization abilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Initiate and manage workflow and credentialing process for existing clients specific to their unique needs to obtain privileges per their bylaws and compliance requirements
– Establish and maintain positive working relationships between vRad and credentialing contacts at hospitals while managing client needs
– Evaluate facility processes, determine opportunities for efficiencies and develop action plans
– Proactive adjustments of rosters based on facility needs and radiologists schedule adjustments, capacity, etc.
– Participate in the implementation of privileging processes and procedures
– Sell, promote and advocate vRad’s credentialing services (Credentialing Agreements, vRad Portal, Electronic Signatures, etc.)
– Maintain continuous communication with credentialing contacts, internal Physician Services team members, account services. radiologists and other internal clients
– Determine targets and meet deadlines for privileges granted
– Obtain emergent privileges when necessary following proper guidelines and processes
– Manage electronic credentialing database notes, dates and proper documentation, including
– Set up and maintain user accounts for client facing software
– Assist with basic training/shadowing of new team members
– Manages and understands department processes

Qualifications/Education:

– 2-3 years customer facing experience
– Credentialing or Medical Staff Office experience preferred
– Knowledge of Joint Commission and HIPAA compliance
– Experience with Joint Commission audits a plus

– Summary: Individual is responsible for the development and support of all standard and ad hoc reports for the Data Warehouse of MEDNAX. This will include: Architecture, development and support of complex database designs of the data warehouse; Monitoring and pro-active management of databases, data warehouse and production environment; Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports.
