Our client, a leading player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking an Optical Network Development Engineer to join their team. As an Optical Network Development Engineer, you will be part of the infrastructure team supporting the deployment and operation of global DWDM networks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $76/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

• Build, operate, and roll out global DWDM networks.
• Drive scaling of current DWDM designs to meet customer demand.
• Ensure the DWDM network adheres to defined network standards.
• Review and implement changes on the DWDM network.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions daily.

What’s Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in Optical Networking.
• Strong understanding of optical network fundamentals.
• Experience deploying DWDM networks.
• Ability to meet operational excellence projects to drive improvements.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and problem-solving in a network environment.
