The Oracle Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Oracle applications and databases to meet organizational needs. This role combines technical development, functional and financial analysis, and cross-department collaboration to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and related systems.

What will you do?

  • Develop, modify, and support Oracle applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and other Oracle development tools.
  • Design, configure, and enhance Oracle workflows, alerts, and notifications to automate and streamline business processes.

  • Customize and extend Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules—including Financials —to meet evolving business requirements.

  • Create and optimize database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support application functionality and business logic.

  • Support integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure accurate, secure, and efficient data flow across applications and platforms.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks across Oracle applications and databases.
  • Continuously improve application responsiveness and stability through proactive tuning and optimization efforts.

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain data security controls within Oracle applications.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for data protection.

  • Produce and maintain thorough technical documentation for applications, databases, integrations, and development processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date application documentation for reference by technical teams and end users.

  • Work closely with business analysts, system administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Support project planning, execution, and delivery through reliable technical expertise and communication.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and databases.
  • Provide ongoing user support, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Pursue additional certifications and credentials as needed to support evolving business needs and long-term career growth.

What will make you a successful candidate?

  • BS in Computer Schience, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Application Developer or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
  • Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle APEX, or other Oracle development tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance optimization
  • Experience with data Modeling and database design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Oracle Certification 
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience operating with Oracle E-Business Suites, with strong preference given to those with R12.1.3 experience
