Job Title: Oracle EBS Finance RTR Consultant – Oracle R12 & 11i ERP  

Experience: 5+ years in Oracle R12 & 11i ERP (Oracle EBS) Finance RTR module 

Job Description: 
We are seeking an experienced Oracle R12 & 11i ERP Finance RTR Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all Oracle R12 & 11i ERP Finance RTR sub module with knowledge on other EBS Finance modules and a strong background in application development, deployment and production support processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding and experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules (General Ledger and Fixed Assets). 

  • Application Support: Provide Production support for Oracle Finance GL module. Identifying and resolving complex issues while providing support to end users on Oracle EBS applications. Provide support for third-party interfaces and ensure data integrity.  

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to Oracle EBS Finance GL module. Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.  

  • User support: Providing technical support to end users on Oracle EBS applications, addressing queries and resolving issues.   

  • Training: Developing and delivering training materials and sessions for end-users on Oracle EBS Finance GL module.  

  • Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base for easy access to information.  

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth application management.  

  • Data Analysis: Develop simple to medium complexity SQL scripts to extract ERP data for analysis.  

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in application performance, processes, and user experience. Participate in the development and implementation of new enhancements.  

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Understanding client’s business processes and identifying areas for improvement using Oracle EBS Finance GL module. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. 

  • Module Configuration: Configuring and customizing Oracle EBS Finance modules with focus on General Ledger.  

  • Data Migration: Develop Source to Target ERP mapping from or to Oracle EBS Finance GL module. 

  • Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related degree. 

  • 5+ years of experience working with Oracle 11i and R12 ERP application with focus on Finance GL module.  

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.  

  • Strong understanding of modules like General Ledger, Fixed Assets and other key Finance modules. Familiarity with supply chain management business processes and industry best practices. 

  • Proficient in Business requirement analysis, Gap identification, Solution proposals and Design development.  

  • Understanding of Oracle EBS functional architecture. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with functional teams and business users. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification on Oracle Financial Management / RTR (preference to Oracle R12 or 11i versions). 

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Finance implementations is a plus. 

  • Experienced with SDLC/Agile methodologies and project management tools.
