Role: Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance Functional Lead

Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote with Travel (Must reside in the United States)

Position Summary:

· Implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Payables, Receivables, Advanced Collection and General Ledger modules for a large Oracle Fusion transformation program.

· Understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules’ interactions with Finance modules.

· Conduct requirement and prototype workshops with client stakeholders.

· Execute fit-gap analysis and map with product’s best practices for solution and workarounds.

· Prepare project deliverables as per Oracle’s OUM implementation methodology.

· Hands on experience and willingness to work on Solutioning, Configuration, Documentation, User Training and solution Testing.

· Candidate should have minimum two Cloud implementation project experience.

· Position reports to Project Functional Architect.

Responsibilities:

· Implement and support Oracle Fusion Finance solution, including Fusion Payables, Receivables, Advance Collections.

· Gather and analyze business requirements related to ‘Procure to Pay’ & ‘Record to Report’ processes and recommend solutions to meet business needs.

· Conduct requirement workshops with business leads and document the outcomes.

· Configure and customize Oracle Fusion Cloud modules to align with business processes and requirements.

· Provide expert-level support for Oracle Fusion Cloud, including issue resolution, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

· Conduct user training and create documentation to support the use of Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance with other modules and third-party systems.

· Keep abreast of updates and new features in Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance and advise on their implementation.

· Create functional design documents and work with developers for custom extensions

· Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

· Participates in competency group’s initiatives around creation of internal tools, reusable artifacts and solutions.

Required Qualifications:

· Core Expertise in Oracle Finance Cloud modules – Oracle Payables, General Ledger, Receivables and Advance Collection modules (In priority order of listing of these modules).

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 8+ years of experience working with Oracle Finance modules, with a minimum of 2 implementations in Fusion Cloud Finance modules is mandatory.

· Capability to independently conduct the workshops with customer, execute fit-gap analysis and come up with necessary workarounds and extensions for the solution.

· Experience in UOM based documents for Solution Configuration, Extension Designs, Test Scripts, User Training Documents, etc.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Preferably based at Atlanta, otherwise willing to travel frequently and regularly.

· Experience in large global – multi country and multi-phase transformation programs.

· Experience on retail customer projects, with multiple stores and franchise model.

· Certification in Oracle Fusion Procurement, Inventory and Payables modules.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $83,050/Year to $132,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

  • Participate in project planning and management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Ensure that all solutions are scalable secure and aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience.

Qualifications

  • Possess a deep understanding of EBS-Receivables EBS-Payables EBS-General Ledger and EBS-Cash Management.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Finance & Accounting principles and practices.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Sales Planning & Execution strategies.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show proficiency in developing functional specifications and technical documentation.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully leading EBS implementation projects.

Certifications Required

Oracle E-Business Suite Financials Certified Implementation Specialist CPA or equivalent certification in Finance & Accounting.
