The PACS Radiology Imaging Systems Analyst will join the family of dedicated nurses and other health care professionals living out a mission to heal people in body, mind and spirit. The PACS Diagnostic Imaging Systems Administrator will be responsible for implementing and supporting the multiple imaging applications for the Hospital and its clients including optimizing the end user experience. The PACS Radiology Imaging Systems Analyst will focus on the application, database, environment, user experience, and sub-system performance of these clinical applications.
The PACS Diagnostic Imaging Systems Analyst will consult with clinical end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. The PACS Radiology Systems Administrator will write and/or review manuals for users to describe systems procedures as they relate to department's operations. The PACS Radiology Systems Analyst will work on complex projects requiring understanding of imaging clinical applications to define project requirements, and performs complex data collection and analysis.
The PACS Diagnostic Imaging Systems Administrator will review, analyze, and modify the imaging systems including configuration, testing, debugging, modification, activation and on-going support including the installation of new applications. The PACS Radiology Systems Analyst will mentor junior imaging informatics staff on the principles of informatics and imaging system implementation.
The ideal candidate for PACS Diagnostic Imaging Systems Administrator should have Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), information/computer science, software, or engineering with at least five years of experience in supporting Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and voice recognition; management of IT implementation projects/applications and Radiology workflow such as RIS, PACS, or EMR/EHR.
