As a Payment Operations Analyst you will perform an integral role in our Global Payments and Transaction Risk Department in Tempe. This position will be primarily responsible for analyzing and summarizing transaction data from various payment processors, advising on and coordinating payment processing related projects, and assisting our customer support and other internal teams with payment processing related inquiries.
Analyzing key payment metrics for the region and deriving actionable optimizations with the goal of improving the customer experience and payments performance
Supporting our customer support and internal regional teams with payment processing related issues; providing appropriate information to resolve payment related concerns and acting as a liaison with both payment processors and internal dev teams
Assisting with QA efforts associated with payment processing changes and new integrations by testing the end-to-end customer experience, payment flow and identifying opportunities
Fielding questions from payment processors and internal teams
Coordinating projects, communicating business requirements, and measuring success while also delivering high quality management-level reporting
Upon request, perform the job duties of a Fraud Detection Analyst and/or Chargeback Administrator:
Fraud Detection Analysts analyze customer accounts to determine if fraudulent activity is present. There are numerous reasons orders might be considered fraudulent. Fraud Detection Analysts are required to know the path to uncover questionable orders as quickly as possible. The goal of this department is to provide timely service to customers while controlling losses to the company.
Chargeback Administrators receive, review, and process credit card chargebacks daily. In this role, you will identify items with a probability of collection, submit rebuttals to processors, and charge administrative fees upon reversal.
Supports additional efforts within the scope of the Payment Operations Department as necessary
If you do not currently work at GoDaddy, at least 1 year of experience in the Payments Industry is required
If you are currently a GoDaddy employee, you cannot have any Final Written Warning within the last 60 days and cannot be on a PIP to apply
1+ year(s) data analysis and report creation experience is required
1+ year(s) managing internal and external relationships experience is required
Experience with SQL and/or advanced Excel is a plus
Experience with Tableau, Hadoop, or Alation is a plus
Experience in the Payment Industry working with e-commerce transactions for digital goods is a plus
Experience working with or in the Go Daddy Fraud Department is a plus
Independent worker who is capable of strong team participation
Able to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment while preserving organization
Strong troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in MS Office products
