Position Overview
The Principal Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the design, architecture, development, and maintenance of applications, including requirements analysis, customizations, database changes, screen changes, security definition and workflow. This is a lead or managerial position that works with and oversees other developers in their work and represents the team with the business.
What You’ll Do
-
Responsible for technical development, implementation, administration, and support of Salesforce CRM, using leading edge technologies. Participate in the development and deployment new features to support business initiatives, playing a leading role in the design of new/improved interfaces to Salesforce.

Develop new applications and functionality including modifying existing website, micro-sites, and application sites for Salesforce. Develop and document functional specifications.

Lead a team of developers to fulfill requested enhancements. Conduct and manages code reviews, and Pair-Programming Sessions.

Responsible for the software release management of team projects including packaging for deployment and working with Configuration Management for the release of, and integration of released applications into open web projects.

Provide production support for Salesforce CRM including afterhours support when necessary.

Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including requirement analysis, design and implementation, estimations, and other aspects of iterative development.

Develop production application support plans, schedules, and assignments as required. Estimate the level of effort related to technical design, coding, and unit testing.
Qualifications
-
7+ years’ experience working with Salesforce CRM as well as Salesforce Platform Developer 1 and 2 Certification

Experience managing development teams and pipelines

Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies is a strong plus

Experience working with Lightning, and Lightning Web Components
-
Proficiency in a variety of programming related technologies and tools including APEX, Agile, GearSet, Git, Mulesoft, Visual Studio
